Farm Share

What is a Farm Share?

Subscribing for a Farm Share gets you access to the freshest local, certified organic produce around. Not only do you get great food, you’ll also support a local business, put money back into the local food economy, and support a farm that uses sustainable organic growing practices.

It’s food that’s good for the planet, good for your health, and good for our community!

How it works

1. Choose your share size, duration & frequency. The program runs for 22 weeks, from June to November.

Select your share size: Regular ($28/week) or Large ($40/week)

Select how often you’d like your shares: weekly or bi-weekly

2. Choose a payment option. Payment can be made in full before the season starts - this helps us cover our early-season costs like seeds and equipment

OR use our payment plan - a 25% deposit is required to signup, and remaining payments are spread throughout the season

3. Choose a pickup location or get home delivery.

We offer the following pickup/ delivery options:

  • Salad Days Farm in Belwood - Thursdays 4pm - 7pm, Fridays 10am - 6pm or Saturdays 10am - 4pm

  • Home delivery (within Fergus & Elora) - Thursdays for $6/delivery. Please see delivery zone HERE

Customize your weekly shares

We use a management platform called Harvie. When you sign up for our Farm Share you’ll be redirected to the Salad Days Farm page on the Harvie website where you’ll follow easy steps to join.

Once you’re on board for the season you’ll use your Harvie account to manage your shares.

Harvie allows you to:

  • set your vegetable preferences so your share is assembled according to your tastes

  • customize your share - swap veggies in and out or add extra items

  • put your share on hold if you’re away on vacation and reschedule your pickup

  • make the most of your veggies by offering recipe suggestions and cooking tips
